Student Leadership
Student Voice is a key to underpinning the School Values at Lockleys Primary School; Respect, Belonging, Caring and Commitment. Improving student outcomes through ensuring student voice is a priority both through nominated Student Voice representatives and leaders as well as at an individual and classroom level enables students to share their unique perspectives on learning.
We have modelled our decision making processes on the information presented by Andrew Fuller at the 2016 Resilient Youth Australia Conference and the Ladder of Participation, Hart.R (1992).
Our theme is ‘What makes a leader phenomenal?’ Our ultimate goal is to empower students to confidently and actively participate in home, community and school life.
